These eczema remedies that may help.

eczema Tip #1

Calendula heals the skin and helps knit it together again. Apply a good calendula lotion on dry skin affected by eczema to help soothe and heal it.

eczema Tip #2

If you can tolerate oils, dilute 3 drops of lavender essential oil in 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil and massage it into your skin to help relax you and soothe your eczema. My husband cannot tolerate any oil on his skin, but when I massaged pure lavender essential oil everyday on his skin, he found it soothing and it helped with his eczema for 2 weeks, before it ceased helping him out. Rotating oils would help but lavender and tea tree are the only ones that can safely be used neat and tea tree does not help eczema at all.

eczema Tip #3

German chamomile oil, diluted in essential oil (3 drops to 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil) can be used to massage someone with eczema to relieve the symptoms. As eczema flares up under stress, a relaxing massage everyday can help relieve the symptoms of eczema.

eczema Tip #4

Keep a food diary and record everything you eat for a month, as well as when exactly eczema flares up, gets worse or improves. Take note of what you eat just before it flares up.

Your eczema may be due to a food allergy. Common culprits are eggs, food colorings, food additives and diary products. Play detective and see if you can spot a link between food and your eczema. If you suspect a particular food triggers of your eczema, stop eating it.

eczema Tip #5

Get a vacuum cleaner. Use that to keep your home dust free. A strong vacuum cleaner can suck the dust mites out of sofas and beds as well. For all you know, the dust could be the cause of your eczema.

eczema Tip #6

Fill a clean sock with oatmeal and tie the end shut. Then put it into the bathtub and fill the tub with warm water. Squeeze the sock to get the oat juice out. Soak in the oat bath. It should soothe the itch.

eczema Tip #7

There is no medical cure for eczema, but people have been cured from eczema completely, supernaturally. Check out these miracle testimonies for details.

eczema Tip #8

Could household cleaners be causing your eczema?

A friend of mine has that exact problem so she washes everything with sodium bicarbonate, or baking soda.

eczema Tip #9

Add dead sea bath salt to your bath to relieve your eczema. Soak in the bath for half an hour at least.
