How to apply concealer

1. First apply foundation.
2. Use a makeup brush to paint the concealer onto the blemishes that are visible after foundation is applied
3. After brushing on the concealer, pat carefully over the area with clean, dry fingers to blend the concealer over the makeup
4. For large birthmarks or scars on the face, take your time to cover them carefully by painting a corrective concealer like dermablend concealer in a shade very close to the foundation.
5. Blend in the edges of your concealer makeup with the foundation by patting carefully with your fingers.
6. Dust loose powder over the entire face lightly with a powder puff or a powder brush.

No doubt you could just apply the cover stick directly over the blemishes for speed, but if you want the best results, use a concealer brush. Get a full makeup brushes kit for better results when you paint on your face.
