Parfum coffrets and beauty coffrets for the coffret collector
Which girl can resist a miniature coffret filled with travel sized makeup, skincare or fragrances that look so adorable and yet are so practical as she can carry these treasures whereever she goes.
I'm particularly fond of the parfum coffret which typically contains most of the fragrances a fashion house is famous for. Okay, so I am an avid coffret collector. Coffrets let you sample the offerings a luxury brand has, which may normally be priced out of reach. Especially if you want them all. Or if you tire of things easily, coffrets let you try many different scents, in small quantities, so you can wear whatever you like according to your whim and fancy.
Parfum coffrets may be a collection of different fragrances in tiny versions of the originals, or they may be a full collection of body lotion, shower gel and cologne or parfum from a single scent.
What exactly is a coffret?
It is a small case for jewels or little precious items. Perfume bottles are like jewels that contain fragrances, so a perfume coffret is a modern gift for the woman who loves fine things in life. Personally, I like perfume coffrets for the value for money and the pretty packaging that comes with the lovely bottles. These days, coffrets have become synonymous with gift sets with precious beauty treats. They make wonderful gifts. As a woman, I would love to receive any of these for Christmas. Hey, guys appreciate great scents too. Some men are even more vain then women. This is after all, the era of the metrosexual - the well groomed gentleman who knows how to present himself with panache. My son would probably grow up to be a well groomed guy. On a field trip, while other kids bought candy and snacks or toys, my 8-year-old boy bought a tiny vial of a very musky men's fragrance for himself and used it everyday until it was all gone.

Today's coffret is a great treat which is still affordable. The right coffret is a wonderful gift for yourself or for your loved ones. The Homme versions are for the guys. Escada coffrets come in versions for the sophisticated woman or the man of the world.
A perfume coffret with matching body lotion or bath products makes your daily bath or shower a luxurious experience.
These are no brainers when it comes to gift. When I am totally lost as to what to get for a birthday, or out of ideas for gifts for a special occasion, I simply get a coffret.
